Nursing Externship

UVA Health Haymarket Medical Center, UVA Health Prince William Medical Center, UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center, UVA Community Medical Group, and associated medical clinics and outpatient facilities became fully owned and operated by UVA Health in July 2021. This exciting alignment brought three community hospitals, a network of primary and specialty medical practices and outpatient centers, a medical staff of more than 850 physicians representing 60 specialties and sub-specialties, and approximately 2,900 team members, providing high-quality care to the communities of Culpeper and Northern Virginia.
UVA Community Health is excited to open applications for it’s 2027 Nursing Summer Externship. This paid opportunity is geared towards nursing students entering their final year of nursing school. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in a clinical setting, working alongside experienced registered nurses to deliver quality patient care. It’s an exceptional chance for current nursing students to reinforce their understanding of nursing practices.
